Information You Actively Provide

• Mailing List Sign-Up: If you join the mailing lists, the website collects your email address (and your name and organization, if you choose to give it). I use this to send you the updates you subscribed for (e.g., news, show announcements, or press releases). I’ll only send you these emails if you signed up, and you can unsubscribe anytime. I don’t sell or rent my lists. My email service provider processes the list only to manage subscriptions and send emails on my behalf.
• Contact Form: When you send a message through the contact form, the website asks for your name, your email, and of course your message. I use this information to reply to you about whatever you wrote. It’s email, and it’s handled and stored like any other email. That’s it.

Information Collected Automatically

• Server Logs: Like almost all websites, this site’s servers and content delivery network automatically log each visit. This log includes things like your IP address, the date and time, which page or file was requested, and your browser type. This information is used only for technical and compliance purposes, and to generate aggregate statistics.
• No Tracking or Analytics Cookies: The website itself may use some cookies and session storage as needed for functional and technical reasons to allow the website to work properly. I don’t use them to identify you or track you across other sites. The website does not set analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking cookies.

Information from Embedded Third-Party Content

The website has some embedded content from other platforms, such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Spotify, and Apple Music, to make the site more enjoyable. When you view or interact with this content, those third parties may collect data about you under their own policies that I do not control. I do not receive any personal data about you from any of these platforms. I do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. I do not use your data for any unexpected purposes like selling it, profiling you for ads, or anything along those lines. I do not share your information except as necessary to operate the website, or as might be required for legal or safety reasons.

I use trusted service providers to run the website. These include the website hosting service, content delivery network, email delivery services and email service providers. These providers process data on my behalf but are not allowed to use it for their own marketing. I only use reputable providers who have their own privacy and security practices.

I operate in the United States. My service providers may process information in the US, the UK, the EU, or other countries where they or their servers are located. A CDN may route your requests through data centers outside your region. By using the site or signing up for emails, you understand your information may be transferred to these locations.

• Unsubscribe: If you have signed up for one of the mailing lists and you no longer want emails, you can click the “unsubscribe” link in any email you got from the lists. For legal reasons, I still need to retain a small record of your subscription information and keep that record even if you unsubscribe.
• Access or Deletion: Ask via the contact form and I’ll share or delete what I control (e.g., list entries, contact emails), if feasible. Some information might be retained by third parties that I do not control.

Browsers can send a Do Not Track (DNT) signal. This site doesn’t do cross-site tracking and thus doesn’t change behavior based on DNT. Third-party embeds may handle DNT under their own policies.

This site isn’t directed to children under 13. I don’t knowingly collect children’s personal information. If you think a child provided info, contact me and I’ll delete it.

We use reasonable measures (HTTPS, updates, access controls) to secure this website. No website is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Links to other websites are governed by those sites’ privacy policies. Consult the privacy policies of those sites for more information.

If I change this policy, I’ll post an updated version with a new effective date here.
